Why Aren’t You Taking L Carnitine?

L Carnitine Fat Loss

When you meet a mega babe like Heidi Somers, aka Buff Bunny and see how toned and stunningly gorgeous she is, you’re going to have some questions!

I know I did after meeting her at the LA fitness expo earlier this year.

L Carnitine Fat Loss

I had been following her on a social media for a while but had never really delved into watching her YouTube videos, but after meeting her I became kind of a crack addict in terms of watching every video on nutrition and health that she has made and I am SO glad I did.

Not only did I learn about the power of BCAA’s which I talked about here, I also learned about L Carnitine and fat loss!

L Carnitine is an essential natural nutrient that helps your body to burn fat instead of carbs for fuel.

Basically consuming L Carnitine helps to burn fat like nobody’s business and plays a huge role in transporting fat into mitochondria, to get a little bit sciencey for yah, stay with me.

Due to this property, L Carnitine has begun to be marketed as an amazing fat burning diet supplement that no fitness lover should be without.

Also by taking L Carnitine along with Omega 3 Fish Oil, you can exponentially raise your energy levels and lose even more fat!

Talk about a win -win!

Taking L Carnitine on a regular basis is has SO many other kick ass benefits as well and is shown to improve all of the following

  • High Intensity Work Capacity
  • Increase Athletic Performance
  • Speed Up Your Body’s Recovery from Intense Exercise
  • Prevent Oxidative Stress that can lead to long term health issues like chronic inflammation and heart disease
  • Improve Your Body’s Natural Fat Burning Ability

Let’s talk about my favorite benefit of taking L Carnitine shall we?

L Carnitine Fat Loss

L Carnitine Fat Loss Benefits!

L Carnitine is an amazing way to increase our body’s natural fat burning capabilities because Carnitine is a potent fat burner.

It is responsible for helping to transport fats into the cells to then in turn be used for energy in the body.

When you increase the level of L Carnitine in your muscles you are aiding the fat burning process, and when your body starts to more efficiently use fat as fuel your energy levels will increase exponentially

Why You Should Take Omega 3 Fish Oil with L Carnitine

When you combine L Carnitine with Omega 3 Fish Oil it is like a double whammy of fat burning power. Basically for L Carnitine to have the maximum level of efficacy, you need to have an adequate amount of Omega 3 Fatty Acids in your body.

They are important because they help to improve the health of every cell in your body if you get the right amount of them.

Cells are made up of two layers of lipids of fats, which will be composed of healthy or unhealthy fats depending on the type you eat. If the cell lipid layers are made up of Omega 3 Fats, the cell will be generally healthier.

It will also make them more sensitive to insulin. When your cells are more sensitive to insulin it allows your body to get the most energy production out of L Carnitine.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids help to jumpstart your metabolism and rev it up by increasing cell activity in your body thereby increasing your body’s fat burning abilities!

So if you are going to take L Carnitine, definitely make sure that you are also taking Omega 3 Fish Oil as well to increase your fat burning abilities even more.

L Carnitine Fat Loss

L Carnitine Helps Target Stubborn Fat!

The L Carnitine fat loss benefits are endless and this is another of of my favorites!

Along with Fasted Cardio, adding L Carnitine into your diet can help to melt off stubborn visceral fat like the kind that accumulates around your hips, more lovingly referred to as love handles or your stomach (spare tire).

I definitely don’t any of those, as cute as they sound (which isn’t all that cute). So I became a girl on a mission to find any and all ways to help combat stubborn fat and torch it for good!

Using L Carnitine for stubborn fat definitely works and let me tell you why!

Visceral fat, or stubborn fat is the hardest to lose, and once you’ve got it it’s easy to feel like it can be there to stay!

However this doesn’t have to be the case! Visceral fat can cause numerous health problems especially once it has started to collect around your stomach.

It can lead to fat gain in your organs like your liver and heart, and the more visceral fat that is deposited around those organs, the more likely it is to alter your bodies healthy organ activity.

It can even alter your heart function and lead to heart disease, which is a hell no in my book if it can be prevented!

By raising your L Carnitine levels in your body you can help to fight against this stubborn visceral fat by increasing your bodies natural fat burning capabilities.

This in turn helps to take triglycerides and low density lipoproteins out of your body so they don’t cause high cholesterol.

It’s time to wake up and start taking L Carnitine Fat Loss seriously!

So my favorite L Carnitine to take is this one that Heidi Somers recommends and I usually just order mine from amazon and take a tablespoon every morning, straight no chaser!

It also lasts a really long time and I look forward to taking it every morning.

It tastes good and actually gives me a pep in my step before I even have my first cup of coffee which is shocking for anybody who knows me because I can be a real you know what before my first cup of joe!

It’s especially great to take some before fasted cardio in the morning because it helps your body tap into that stubborn visceral fat on your thighs, stomach, and hips much more easily which I love and have DEFINITELY noticed a difference since adding into my daily routine!

Ok now I’m off to do my own fasted cardio and of I took my L Carnitine before!

Curious- do you have to take L-carnitine and Omega-3 at the same time? Or just be taking both of them regularly?

I take them both at the same time, just out of convenience but you can take them seperately
